Questions Before You Book?
You’re booking with real people
Magnolia House is hosted by Gwen Resendes, with local guest support from property manager Lupe — the name you’ll see in hundreds of glowing reviews. We’ve welcomed Bend guests since 2017 and we answer fast: typically within 15 minutes during business hours.
- Before you book: ask us anything — beds, stairs, parking, the hot tub, whether your trip fits.
- After you book: clear check-in instructions, local Bend tips, and a real person on call.
- During your stay: Lupe is local and responsive — guests call her support “above and beyond.”

Guests on Gwen & Lupe
Extremely impressed with the level of detail. The kids enjoyed the games and shuffleboard. We enjoyed the jacuzzi under the stars as well as roasting marshmallows by the fire pit. Lupe was so responsive and made us feel so welcome.
Very well located — 5 min walk to Drake Park, right to the footbridge across the Deschutes. From there a nice walk through the park into town. Gwen and co-host Lupe were great at communicating without being intrusive.
